The Jefferson is one of Virginia’s premier 5 star hotels. Rockwood has teamed up with the Jefferson to take on their most time sensitive projects.  It’s imperative that the hotel’s operations remain as unaffected by the construction process as possible. Rockwood’s flexibility and ability to react to the Jefferson’s needs is imperative to an operations Manager, Danny Workman.  Not only has Rockwood been involved in many urgent needs for the hotel, but has worked with management to upgrade its laundry facility.  The area of operation is with in the basement of the hotel, thus making it difficult to get the irons and machines into place. Through special rigging in the elevator shafts the equipment was successfully put into with little interruption of the day to day operations of the hotel.
